Renaud Jay

Securing a bronze medal at the 2023 FIS Nordic World Ski Championships in Planica for the team sprint event, Renaud Jay has established himself as a formidable presence in international cross-country skiing. His distinguished career includes 122 individual World Cup starts, consistent appearances in sprint disciplines, and a notable individual podium placement where he achieved 3rd in a 0.7 km Sprint F stage race in Åre, Sweden during the 2019–20 season. Jay consistently demonstrated his abilities in various sprint disciplines, competing for the CLUB DES SPORTS LES MENUIRES – DOUANES. Jay has proudly represented France at two Winter Olympic Games, competing in the men’s sprint event.

This period also saw him contribute significantly to two World Cup team sprint victories: a 1st place in the 12 x 0.65 km Team Sprint F in Dresden, Germany (2020), and another 1st place in the 6 x 1.2 km Team Sprint F in Livigno, Italy (2023). Throughout his impactful career, Jay has amassed a remarkable record of 122 individual World Cup starts, achieving one individual World Cup podium. In team events, he boasts 17 Team World Cup starts, securing three Team World Cup podiums and two significant Team World Cup wins. His consistent high-level performance and competitive spirit solidify his status as a distinguished cross-country skier with a proven track record on the international stage.
