Demiri’s rise to fame on social media has now led to a rising public speaking career, where she shares her story of determination, resiliency and success.
Demiri moved to the United States from Struga in northern Macedonia when she was two. Although she knew she never had feelings for boys, Demiri was forced into a marriage with a boy she had only known for an hour when she was just 17 years old. More than ten years later she openly said she was gay, something she did for her two year old daughter so she could teach her to live life without secrecy.
Now “out and proud”, she works tirelessly to support the LGBTQIA+ community, delivering her message to colleges, high schools and even corporations. A natural visionary with philanthropic views, she now wants to help as many other people as possible win their own battles after successful winning hers.
