Richard Thomas is an Emmy Award-winning actor with over six decades of experience across film, television, and theatre, making him a versatile and recognized talent for numerous brand collaborations. After achieving widespread recognition for his leading role as John-Boy Walton in the CBS drama series ‘The Waltons’ – beginning with ‘The Homecoming: A Christmas Story’ in 1971 and spanning 122 episodes – Richard Thomas earned an Emmy Award for Best Actor in a Dramatic Series in 1973, along with two Golden Globe Award nominations. His career commenced at an early age, making his Broadway debut at seven in ‘Sunrise at Campobello’ (1958) and appearing in the 1959 ‘Hallmark Hall of Fame’ presentation of Ibsen’s ‘A Doll’s House.’ Early television included roles in daytime soap operas like ‘The Edge of Night’ (1961) and ‘As the World Turns’ (1966–67). Thomas also featured in initial film roles such as ‘Winning’ (1969) alongside Paul Newman, ‘Last Summer’ (1969), ‘The Todd Killings’ (1971), and ‘Red Sky at Morning’ (1971).
