As the most decorated wrestler in the whole of WWE history, Ron Killings insane success speaks for itself. The professional wrestler has also always had a massive passion for music, releasing two albums and multiple singles throughout his prolific career. Ron, better known as R-Truth inside the ring, currently competes in the Raw brand extension of the WWE, with an incredible 57 title reigns and 67 overall career reigns under his belt.
Ron attended Harding University High School as a youngster where he already showed incredible athletic skill, those days in football and track and field. The young superstar was offered numerous college scholarships as a result of his talent, however turned them all down to follow his true passion of music. From 1998 to 2002 Ron competed in the WWF, now WWE, as K-Kwik. He formed a team with “Road Dogg” Jesse James, and the heavyweight duo became two time WWF Hardcore Championship winners during that time. In 2002 Ron joined Total Nonstop Action Wrestling as Ron “The Truth” Killings, where he won the NWA World Heavyweight Championship twice, becoming the first African-American titleholder and world champion in TNA history.
The truly inspirational champion returned to the WWE in 2008 as R-Truth, going on to win the WWE United States Championship as well as the WWE Tag Team Championship alongside Kofi Kingston. In 2018 Ron won the Mixed Match Challenge with female wrestler Carmella, and the following year became the WWE United States champion for a second time. The entertainer appeared in the 2008 hard hitting movie starring Mickey Rourke,The Wrestler. He has released two albums in his career, Invinceable in 2003 and Killingit in 2016. Most recently the rapper dropped his single Get it Off in 2020.
