Rory Newbrough

Rory Newbrough is a television personality and professional gamer. He most recently appeared on Series one of Netflix’s supremely successful hit show, Love Is Blind. This dating series, in which contestants competed to find a connection with each other, without seeing what they looked like. It took place over three weeks, fascinating and entertaining the public. Newbrough established himself as somewhat of a ‘relationship guru’, giving romantic advice to his fellow daters.

Rory hails from Alpharetta, Georgia. In his day-to-day life, he is established in the gaming industry. With a degree in Computer Engineering from the University of California San Diego, he worked previously as a game director for Heroic Leap Games, and is now a self-employed gaming consultant. In a nod to his entertainment experience, he has also done voiceover work for videogames such as Paladins: Champions of the Realm and Smite.

Rory’s passion for both gaming and entertainment has encouraged him to evolve his role. He has used social media to display his skills and knowhow, both as gaming consultant and media personality. He has a large social media presence on sites such as the streaming site Twitch, for gamers, as well as the more traditional YouTube and TikTok. More recently, he has expressed a passion for life coaching, and looks to adapt the personality he cultivated on Love Is Blind into helping others conduct their personal relationships.
