Sacha Robotti is a DJ and producer of house and techno music. He is also the head of the Slothacid label. He was born and reared in Belgium and received his education in the United Kingdom and Germany, but he currently calls the United States home. Robotti rose to fame in some of Berlin’s most prestigious nightclubs. With releases on Klasse, FOOD, Snatch!, Octopus Recordings, Sweat It Out, Desert Hearts, a Beatport #1 on Suara, and various projects on Claude Vonstroke’s Dirtybird, his discography dates back to 2005. He has already created the groundwork for his Slothacid imprint, which has already caused significant excitement in the scene. With his label’s releases, Robotti has gained the attention of Forbes, Billboard, and BBC Radio 1, most notably with a family collaboration by true techno royalty, Dantiez, Damarii, Ann, and Kevin Saunderson.

Robotti is in charge of the Slothacid project, which debuted in 2019 with a sold-out, 30-city open-to-close tour, with a focus on releasing music that reflects his genre-spanning sets. To round out the year, he teamed up with SIAN on Octopus. Robotti had to put his tour on hold due to the global Covid-19 pandemic, but he pledges future collaborations with Kevin Knapp and Dantiez Saunderson, ensuring he will be ready and rearing to go as soon as venues reopen.
