Best known for his long-running role as Buzz McNab on the comedy-drama Psych, Sage Brocklebank is a Canadian actor. He also directs and produces films, as well as writing for theater and film. On Psych, the character Buzz McNab is a member of the Santa Barbara Police Department who works with Detectives Lassiter and O’Hara. McNab is a sweet, naive cop who is always trying to please Lassiter, despite the fact that Lassiter does not always treat him properly. He first debuted in the pilot episode and has since featured on the show on a number of occasions. He has a pet cat and a wife, Francine, whom he marries in the first season.
Brocklebank has starred in more than 40 films and television shows since 2001, including How I Married My High School Crush, A Bride for Christmas, Suspension, and Heavenly Match. He has also appeared in Arrow, Smallville, Alien Trespass, Stargate SG-1, Supernatural, and Level Up. Brocklebank has also been involved with theater for a long time. Felony (Winner Site Specific Award Vancouver Fringe Festival 2012), In a Dark Dark House, The Shape of Things, and TAPE are among the plays he has starred in, written, and produced. Brocklebank began producing films in 2014, and his credits include Suspension (2015), Real Fiction (2016), and Ariel Unraveling (2016). Outside of the entertainment industry, he is also a professional poker player.
