Professional dancer and part of the pro team on Dancing with the Stars, Sasha Farber has also appeared on Broadway and in the Olympics closing ceremony.
A dancer from a young age, Farber danced competitively throughout his youth including winning the Australian Youth Latin Championships twice and competing in the World Latin Championships. In 2000, he appeared in the Sydney Olympics closing ceremony, and has danced in Broadway and West End musical Burn the Floor. He first appeared on Dancing with the Stars in season 14, when he was part of the cast of dancers in the show. In season 17, he was promoted to professional dancer in the series, and paired up with Nicole ‘Snooki’ Polizzi. The pair performed well, placing eighth in the show and becoming a favourite with fans. Farber has appeared in the series a further seven times since, reaching the top three in the competition twice with partners Tonya Harding and Ally Brooke. He has also appeared on the spin-off series Dancing with the Stars: Juniors, as a mentor to one of the teams of young dancers in the competition.
With guest appearances on Entertainment Tonight, Good Morning America and Live with Kelly and Ryan, Farber is one of the best loved dancers from the popular dance competition. He regularly appears at red carpet events and public showcases, and is a highly sought after performer.
