The wonderful sportsman Sebastian Muñoz is a professional golfer, who plays on the PGA Tour circuit. He has four professional wins, has competed at the Masters Tournament, the PGA Championship, the US Open, and at The Open Championship, and has represented his native Columbia at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
Born and raised in Columbia, Muñoz started playing golf at a young age. As an amateur he competed and won in many events and tournaments at home and abroad, including at the 2010 Copa Joaquin y Tomas Samper Brush, Canadian International Junior Challenge, and the 2013 Torneo Aficionado Segunda Semana. He played collegiate golf at the University of North Texas, where he won two tournaments, including the Conference USA Championship.
Muñoz turned professional in 2015 and played in the PGA Tour Latinoamérica’s Developmental Series, winning two tournaments. He earned his Web.com Tour card after becoming the first Columbian to win on the Web.com Tour after his victory at the Club Colombia Championship. He continued to improve and earned his PGA Tour card for the 2017 season. He won his first PGA Tour tournament at the Sanderson Farms Championship in 2019. He was selected for the International team in the 2022 Presidents Cup.
