Setting a national record at the age of 14, Siddharth Kannan became India’s youngest radio host when he joined Times FM in 1994, an achievement recognized by the Limca Book of Records. Early in his career, he co-hosted ‘Miranda Char Baje Band Baje’ on Radio Star 107.1 FM alongside Cyrus Broacha, establishing his distinctive voice and interviewing prowess. Kannan further pioneered broadcast education by founding ‘Wild on Air,’ India’s first dedicated radio school, in 1999. His early success in television was marked by receiving the ‘Best TV Host’ award at the 14th Lions Golds Award in 2007, recognizing his dynamic presence and engaging interview style.

His excellence was further acknowledged with the ‘Best Chat Show host on TV’ award at the Tassel Fashion and Lifestyle Awards in 2013 and ‘Best Emcee’ at the Live Quotient Awards in both 2013 and 2014. Beyond his on-screen and on-air roles, Siddharth Kannan is a highly sought-after voice-over artist, lending his voice to prestigious events like the IIFA Awards and Filmfare Awards, alongside numerous national TV commercials. As an official live event host, he presided over the IIFA Weekend Extravaganza for three consecutive years, helmed Femina Miss India, and served as the official red carpet host for the Justin Bieber concert in Mumbai in 2017. Maintaining a prolific digital presence, his YouTube channel, dedicated to interviews with Bollywood stars and corporate personalities, has amassed over 200 million views, showcasing his sustained relevance and widespread appeal in the digital entertainment landscape.
