Sol Romero

Sol Romero is a Swiss-Mexican actress and international recording artist, known for her contributions to film and music. After gaining early experience as a camera double for Eva Mendes during the production of Robert Rodriguez’s Once Upon a Time in Mexico, Sol Romero formally pursued her acting career, honing her craft at the RADA Academy in London. Her television debut saw her portray Paquita Guerrero across 12 episodes of the TV series Kachorra in 2002. Romero continued to build her filmography, appearing in notable projects such as The Legend of Zorro (2005) and Casino Royale (2006).

This was followed by her role as a hospital nurse in the 2010 feature Edge of Darkness. Romero’s career expanded significantly into music as an international recording artist. Her breakout single, ‘Turn It Up,’ released in 2015, achieved significant commercial success, reaching the top ten on the highly competitive Swiss music charts. This momentum continued with her collaborative single ‘Money Makes the World Go Round,’ featuring Grammy-nominated artist French Montana, in the same year.
