Andres Cordero

Andres Cordero began his career in sports journalism in 2004, working as an AP/Presenter and Commentator for Gol TV. During his eight-year tenure, which lasted until February 2012, he developed his skills in covering various soccer leagues and tournaments. Following this, he joined beIN MEDIA GROUP in February 2012, where he worked as a Sports Journalist, Commentator, Host, and Reporter for over nine years, concluding his role in April 2021. In this period, Cordero expanded his portfolio by covering major international competitions such as La Liga, Serie A, Ligue 1, Copa Libertadores, World Cup Qualifiers, and the Africa Cup of Nations, establishing his reputation in soccer broadcasting.

In March 2020, Cordero took on the role of Lead Soccer Commentator and Studio Host for Inter Miami CF, a position he held until January 2023. Concurrently, from May 2021 to March 2024, he served as the Lead Soccer Commentator for CBS Sports / Paramount+, primarily focusing on Serie A and Concacaf coverage. His work with Major League Soccer as a Play-by-play Commentator from February 2023 to February 2024 further solidified his presence in the North American soccer landscape. Through these roles, Cordero has continuously engaged with a broad audience, delivering analysis and commentary for significant soccer matches across multiple platforms.

Cordero’s educational background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism from Florida International University School of Journalism and Mass Communication.
