Robert Lee Greene Jr., professionally known as Spice 1, is a seminal figure in American rap, celebrated for his raw lyricism and unwavering authenticity. Hailing from Hayward, California, Spice 1 emerged onto the music scene in 1992, swiftly becoming a pioneering force within the Oakland-San Francisco Bay Area hip-hop enclave.
