Snowboarder Stle Sandbech specialises in slopestyle and big air. He competed for Norway in the Winter Olympics in 2010, 2014, 2018, and 2022. In the Men’s Slopestyle competition in 2014, he took home a silver medal. Sandbech competed in slopestyle at the 2014 Winter Olympics, marking the sport’s debut appearance on the Olympic schedule. In his first run, he attempted a triple cork but failed to complete it. He finished second behind Sage Kotsenburg with 91.75 points after a successful second run. It was Norway’s first Olympic medal in 2014. Both the Swedish slopestyle competitor Sven Thorgren and the former snowboarder and Norwegian TV 2 commentator Andreas Wiig agreed that Sandbech should have won the gold medal because they felt he outperformed Kotsenburg.

Sandbech finished fifth in the BigAir competition at the 2015 Winter X Games and seventh in the Slopestyle competition.
