Stephanie Garcia

Stephanie Garcia was born on May 3, 1988, in Austin, Texas. She developed into a prominent American runner, primarily competing in the 3000 metres steeplechase. Her college career at the University of Virginia saw her progress from a walk-on athlete to an NCAA runner-up. After turning professional in 2011, Garcia represented the United States in various international competitions.

Throughout her career, Garcia demonstrated consistent performance and improvement. She earned a silver medal at the NACAC U23 Championships in Miramar, Florida, in 2010. She competed in the World Championships, representing her country in 2011 and again in 2015, where she reached the final in the 3000 metres steeplechase. Her personal best in the 3000m steeplechase is 9:19.48, achieved in Paris in 2016, and she also holds strong personal bests in other events, including the 1500 metres (4:04.63) and 5000 metres (15:16.56).

Garcia’s career also includes professional affiliations with prominent athletic brands.
