Suleyman Atli is an Olympic wrestler who has represented Turkey in international competitions, earning multiple medals at European and World Championships. After securing gold medals at both the World Juniors Wrestling Championships in Sofia and the European Juniors Wrestling Championships in Skopje in 2013, both in the highly competitive 50 kg category, Suleyman Atli established himself as a dominant force in junior freestyle wrestling. These significant junior-level successes provided a strong foundation for his rapid transition into senior international competitions, where he quickly began to make an impact representing Turkey on the global stage. That same year, Atli dominated the 2023 Ibrahim Moustafa tournament in Egypt, achieving a first-place finish.
