Self-proclaimed ‘Beverly Hills Princess’ and Instagram star Tamara Nagiskaya has more than 150,000 followers on her @tamaraxoxxo account. She also developed a sizable fan base for her YouNow live broadcasts, where as many as 40,000 people tune in to watch her shows. Born in 2001 in New York City to affluent parents, Nagiskaya is a dancer who started recording YouTube videos of her ballroom moves in 2013. She has since uploaded vlogs, makeup guides, and mukbang videos to her YouTube channel, which has more than 25,000 followers and over 1.9 million total views. Nagiskaya has remarked that when she looks in the mirror, she sees a perfect Barbie doll, with huge lips, a little waist, and a big butt.
In 2018, Nagiskaya appeared on the juggernaut US chat show Dr. Phil, where she claimed to spend $7,000 a month maintaining her hair, skin, eyebrows, and wardrobe, as well as having her own beauty team visiting her house three to four times a week. At the time of her appearance, she was seventeen years old and living in Beverly Hills, California without her parents. Her obsession with physcial perfection took a lot of time and effort, and caused her to stop going to public school. While on the show, she also answered criticism from fellow YouTuber Nicolette Gray, who claimed that Nagisaka had copied her online persona. In 2019, Nagisaka uploaded a video to her YouTube channel which parodied the popular Vogue ’73 Questions’ video series. Her video garnered over 130,000 views.
