Tarrinn Callender is a professional singer, actor and stage performer best known for portraying the characters of both Hercules Mulligan and James Madison in the original London cast of the phenomenally popular musical Hamilton.
Callender earned a degree in Musical Theatre in 2017, before taking to the stage for such productions as The Life, The Mystery of Edwin Drood and Kiss Me Kate. It was only a year after his graduation that he landed the role of a lifetime when he was cast as James Madison in the Victoria Theatre’s London premiere of the hit American musical Hamilton. The actor’s West End Debut, it was warmly received by critics and set him on a path to stardom. This performance opened the doors for Callender to take on leading roles in the classic Dick Whittington and His Cat at London’s Hackney Empire, along with the Phoenix Theatre’s production of Come From Away.
The winner of four Olivier Awards, Come From Away was described as “a global phenomenon” by The Guardian and tells the story of the 7,000 air passengers who were grounded in Canada during the wake of 9/11, and the modest Newfoundland community that welcomed them into their lives.
