Troyman

Troy Earvin Curry, known professionally as Troyman, was born on April 17, 1992, in Oakland, California. He later relocated to Atlanta, Georgia, as a teenager, where he began his music career at the age of 16. In 2017, Troyman released his debut full-length project, “A.P.R.I.L. (A Period of Infinite Life)”. This project was created following the death of his mother, and Troyman continued his music career with a stated dedication to honoring her memory.

In 2019, Troyman gained further public recognition as a top finalist on Netflix’s premier hip-hop competition series, ‘Rhythm + Flow’. His song “Streetlights,” produced by Tay Keith, achieved viral success after the series aired, contributing to his growing presence in the music industry. His career has expanded to include acting roles, with appearances in productions such as “Laying My Past to Rest” (2010) as Devante, “Bolden” (2019) as a Dancer, and “American Soul” (2020) as Cop #2. He also appeared in the short film “Behind the Layers (Sponsored by Nikon)” (2024) as a Yoga Student.
