Tyler Burgess is an American bass guitarist who gained recognition for his work with the rock band Falling in Reverse. His involvement with the band began in April 2018 when he replaced Christian Thompson. During his initial tenure, he was featured in significant releases such as the single “Losing My Life” in 2018, coinciding with the band’s appearance at the final Vans Warped Tour. He also contributed to the single “Drugs” in 2019.
Burgess’s role as bassist and backing vocalist with Falling in Reverse spanned from 2018 to 2021. After an initial departure in early 2021, which saw Wes Horton III temporarily take over his position, Burgess returned to the band in mid-2022. His second period with Falling in Reverse lasted until June 2025, at which point Daniel “DL” Laskiewicz assumed the bass duties. Beyond Falling in Reverse, Burgess has also led his own heavy music project, American Monster.
