Spanish football coach Vicente del Bosque is a true tactician and strategist, having led his national team to victory numerous times.
Prior to his huge success as a manager, del Bosque was a skillful player who spent many years playing in La Liga. He was a key part of the Real Madrid team for many seasons, making over 400 appearances for the club, as well as appearing 18 times with the Spanish national side. After his retirement as a player, he started coaching and eventually managing at his old club Real Madrid, working his way up through the ranks before he was appointed as manager in 1999. Del Bosque brought great success to the side, helping them to win the UEFA Champions League, the Intercontinental Cup and two La Liga titles during his time there. After four years he left the club, briefly managing Besiktas before landing the job of coach of the Spanish national team in 2008. This was a great move for the club, as the experienced and effective manager led them to win their first ever FIFA World Cup in 2010 and win the 2012 European Championships.
