Vladimir Furdik, also known as Furdo, is a stunt man who has appeared in an incredible list of hit television shows and won four prestigious awards for his contribution to the stunt scene. Furdik is known best for his roles in Game of Thrones, Skyfall and Robin Hood, however he has also appeared in Prince of Persia, The Witcher, The Huntsman: Winter’s War, Thor, Sherlock Holmes and more; if there has been a high profile cinematic film with action, Furdik will have worked on the stunts for it.
Furdik has also appeared in films such as The Mummy, as a stunt double of Channing Tatum and Nicholas Cage, War Horse, Eragon, The Chronicles of Narnia and as the Night King in Game of Thrones – probably considered one of the most vital roles to the franchise, and one which required up to six whole hours in the makeup chair. Furdik is known for his speciality in action and sword fighting roles, and has been involved with stunts from a young age, having grown up in the Tostabur Espadrones, a group which practiced, performed and celebrated traditional fighting skills and weaponry in Bratislava. When Furdik isn’t helping the world’s most legendary actors achieve seminal stunt performances, the actor enjoys travelling the world.
