Yemi Eberechi Alade, popularly known as Yemi Alade, is a Nigerian Afropop singer, songwriter, actress and activist. Born on March 13, 1989, in Abia State Nigeria, she grew up listening to different genres of music and was thrust into the limelight after winning the Peak Talent Show in 2009.
Yemi Alade began her music career in 2005, and since then, she has continued to dazzle audiences with her powerful voice and electrifying stage presence. Her songs are an eclectic mix of African rhythms, R&B, Pop, and dancehall.
