DJ Cartier has announced the one-off It’s Carts event at Proud Camden this month, taking clubbers through the history of UK garage.

 
The UK garage gatekeeper will celebrate the genre with a 6 hour event drawing on the best music from UKG’s 90s origins right up until recent releases from the class of 2016. It’s Carts will take place at Proud Camden on Friday 23rd September from 10pm-4am. Tickets are available from Resident Advisor.

DJ Cartier tells attendees to expect a couple of “surprise back to back sets” at It’s Carts, and the first and only live rendition of his popular Bars With Carts series, set to feature “loads of MCs” who have previously appeared on the series. MCs who have taken part in Bars With Carts before include Dappa, Preshus, MC Vapour and MC PSG, any of whom could be performing at It’s Carts.

The DJ also stresses that no tracks will be repeated, so garage fans excited to hear their favourite tunes should arrive early to ensure they don’t miss them.
