Which club deserves to take the top spot?
Voting for the 2021 edition of DJ Mag’s poll of the world’s Top 100 Clubs has now opened. Amidst the context of a worldwide pandemic that forced all venues of all kinds to close their doors, DJ Mag has launched the yearly vote in a reimagined format. Whilst we may not be able to enjoy a proper night out just yet here in the UK, DJ Mag is keen to use its platform to celebrate and support the nightclub industry. The previous 10 years have seen Brazil’s Green Valley and Space in Ibiza take the top spot, among others. All the more reason to participate and see which clubs can interrupt the existing status quo.
This year’s vote will be based on a nine-week virtual world tour showcasing clubs across the globe. You will be able to experience the virtual tours through DJ Mag’s numerous social media platforms (Facebook, YouTube and Twitch). The participating clubs will either show an empty club with a DJ set, a live set from a lively club or a classic set from when the club was at its peak! Alongside virtual tours, DJ Mag is organising means in which we will all be able to support the clubs financially. This can be done through various means including a contribution to a Crowdfunder campaign, pre-ordering tickets for when the club will open or by buying merch. The Top 100 Clubs Virtual World Tour is running every Saturday until the middle of July.
