Paulette Constable, born on December 22, 1966, in Manchester, England, began her professional DJ career in the early 1990s. Her initial residency was at Flesh Nites, promoted by Paul Cons, held at The Haçienda from 1991 to 1995. Following this, she moved to London, securing residencies at major venues such as Garage club nights at Heaven, The Zap Club in Brighton, and the Ministry of Sound. Her early career also included a notable Essential Mix broadcast on BBC Radio 1 in 1998, showcasing her expanding presence in the industry.
In 2004, Paulette relocated to Paris, where she continued to build her international profile. She established a weekly residency with Radio FG in April 2005 and maintained a four-year residency at The Mix Club. During this period, she also featured at the Redlight Club and Fashion TV, contributing to two Fashion TV compilations. A significant milestone was mixing the Inaugural Mix Club Compilation in 2005, released in February 2006. Later, she lived in Ibiza, holding residencies at ITACA in San Antonio in 2013 and the Ibiza Rocks Hotel in 2014, further diversifying her international performance experience.
Over her decades-long career, DJ Paulette has received formal recognition for her contributions to electronic music.
