DJ Paulette wins DJ Mag's Lifetime Achievement Award | MN2S

The veteran house DJ and MN2S artist was described by the publication as “pivotal in several of the most significant moments in European electronic music history”.

DJ Paulette has been given DJ Mag’s Lifetime Achievement Award, in recognition of her long and illustrious career in the electronic music industry. DJ Mag’s Editor-in-Chief Carl Loben published an interview with Paulette in recognition of the win, writing: “From her early days spinning at Manchester’s pioneering LGBT+ night Flesh at the Haçienda, to helping the Roni Size Reprazent album win the Mercury Prize, she’s been a positive presence and force for good as she’s helped spread quality electronic music around the planet. She’s had a rich and varied life, which she’s currently detailing in a book that she’s writing — out next year — and it’s an honour to present her with the Lifetime Achievement award this year.”

One of the UK’s most established selectors, DJ Paulette kicked off her career with a residency at the storied gay party Flesh, hosted at Manchester’s now-legendary Hacienda. She later joined up with Ministry of Sound, touring the world as part of their international crew and making a name for herself as a stellar DJ over a career that’s surpassed two decades.
