MN2S are pleased to announce that emerging French house producer Matthieu Faubourg is the latest addition to our DJ Roster.
Paris native Matthieu Faubourg has created a melting pot of jazz, disco, house and garage sounds, creating a name for himself within the French House scene as an essential figure. So far in his career, he has performed in 17 countries, mostly in venues across Europe, in addition to Canada, Lebanon and Georgia. Not only has he performed across multiple countries, he’s released music with renowned record labels Strctr Records, Jazzy Couscous, Smile for a While and Neovinyl Recordings Carlo and Baldo Imprint. He began producing at the age of 23, first making waves with the amazing deep house hit “Please Stay” in 2017, which has since garnered more than 3.9 million views on YouTube.
That was just the beginning. Since the release of “Please Stay”, Faubourg has released several singles in 2018, including the electric and refreshing hit “A Long Way” and two upbeat EPs, I’ll Be Fine and Parallel Lines. That same year, he took his career to the next level, launching his own record label, Lust Definition. The next year he released his much-anticipated debut album Simplicity Is The Ultimate Sophistication, which produced memorable cuts such as “Winter Will Be Long”, “Change”, “Intense” and “Pegasus”. All his previous work has laid the foundation for this album, which sees Faubourg moving through varying shades of energy, tempo and groove while maintaining a consistently smooth, vibrant mood.
