Chicago House pioneer Robert Owens is coming to Leeds this month.
Chicago’s Robert Owens joins the Orchestra of Opera North, Adamski, A Man Called Adam, and The Beloved for The Symphonic Sounds of Back to Basics outdoor musical celebration in Millennium Square, Leeds on 28th July 2017.
The event is to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Back to Basics, the Leeds club night responsible for launching the careers of countless DJs, musicians, artists and fashion designers since its launch in 1991. Just as importantly, the night has brought people in Leeds together, with many friendships and relationships no doubt starting on its dancefloors.
The Symphonic Sounds of Back to Basics is billed as a tribute to the night, with celebrating its growth and evolution over the past quarter century, alongside the city of Leeds itself. It might just be Back to Basics’ biggest night yet, taking place in Millennium Square, a public space in Leeds city centre that didn’t even exist when the club night launched. Read more about the event on its Facebook page here.
Robert Owens will touch down in Leeds after a string of five dates in Germany, including all three days of Birgit, Berlin’s Hundred Fahrenheit Festival and sets at Watergate, Berlin and PAL, Hamburg.
Book Robert Owens to bring the House pioneer to your venue.
