Tom Shorterz starts 2017 with 'Don't Stop' | News | MN2S

House & Bass DJ Tom Shorterz has kicked off 2017 in a big way with a slate of new releases and mixtapes.

As one of the men behind Birmingham’s renowned 2.31 club night at the Rainbow Warehouse and its monthly radio broadcast on Rinse FM, not to mention countless productions, mixtapes and sets around the country, Tom Shorterz is one of the busiest DJs on the House, Bass and UK Garage scenes.

It is no surprise, then, to hear that he has kicked off 2017 with several new musical releases and forthcoming gigs.

First up was Tom Shorterz’s vibrant new release ‘Don’t Stop’ on Lobster Boy Records. Featuring the B-side ‘Space Music’, ‘Don’t Stop’ is everything you could want from the man who made blending boundaries between Bass and House his business. The tracks have already seen early support from the likes of Annie Mac, NYTA, Shiba San and Redlight.

To celebrate the release of ‘Don’t Stop’, Shorterz dropped the Lobster Boy Mixtape. Discussing the tape, Tom said, “This mixtape represents me as a DJ and what i’m about, from those hidden gems on wax to straight up slammers.”

This wasn’t the only mixtape Tom Shorterz gave us in January. He also appeared on Annie Nightingale’s Radio 1 show to debut his Quests Mix, which puts on display his signature style of House & Bass.

With these new releases come new gigs, and Tom Shorterz has already been handpicked by My Nu Leng for their UK Tour, and to play Hannah Wants shows at the newly-reopened Fabric among other dates.

Book Tom Shorterz now to bring the in-demand House & Bass pioneer to your venue.
