Brand new MN2S signees Will Clarke and Billy Kenny kick off their 2016 American tour on January 15, appearing at Club Social Rhodesia in Mexico City. The DJs will then play 23 dates together well into March at venues across the US and Canada. Destinations include Chicago, Boston, Vancouver, San Diego and Brooklyn.
The tour is named ‘Will & Bill’s Excellent Adventure’, and the promotional artwork references the similarly named 90s classic starring Keanu Reeves. Whether this theme will be apparent in the musical content of the duo’s performances, only time will tell.
The tour is being presented by Claude VonStroke’s record label Dirtybird. Dirtybird have a history with both DJs. Last year Kenny released a Dirtybird Campout mix for THUMP, which garnered a great response from listeners. And Will Clarke’s ‘Badness’ was handpicked by VonStroke for his Dirtybird 10 release.
Clarke and Kenny were both featured as MN2S artists to watch last week, and for good reason. Their tour will bring some of the best British bass and techno to a keen American audience, eager to trade cold winter days for warm club nights. If you can’t make the American tour, be sure to look out for Clarke and Kenny when they return to the UK, and expect great things from the two DJs this summer.
See the Dirtybird website for a full list of tour dates.
