MN2S Label Services are thrilled to welcome Morenloud Records to their roster, an Italian label with a simple philosophy: release more music and keep it loud! Along with their sublabels Morensoul Records, Morenjack Records, & Uloln Records, Morenloud will be distributed digitally via MN2S. We spoke with label owner Aldo Bergamasco to find out more about the label and their plans for 2023.
How long has your label been in operation?
Our first track was released in November 2011.
What inspired you to set up the label in the first place?
After several years of producing music for me and different artists in my own recording studio, I thought together with the singer and songwriter Gabriella De Fazio that it was time to start our own label.
How would you describe your musical philosophy and creative vision?
At the age of 8 years old I embraced my first guitar; at 17 I performed with my first band and at 24 I opened my own recording studio and started releasing tracks for various labels until today. Music is part of my life and it is a joy for me to keep on producing it, simply by following my instinct.
Love and passion are the right ingredients to do this job
Tell us about your first release – what was special about that one?
The first release that marked the beginning of our journey was “To Live and Love” by Dedalena, produced by me and written by Gabriella De Fazio.
What’s been the highlight of your journey so far as a label head?
I would say every time a record reaches No 1 in the sales chart. It’s proof that love and passion are the right ingredients to do this job.
What advice would you give to anyone thinking of setting up their own imprint?
Feel free to create music using your instinct, and don’t listen to people who force you to follow their style or method.
