Producer/DJ, house legend and friend of MN2S DJ Spen tops the platform’s annual ranking of Top 500 artists.
DJ Spen has been named Traxsource’s #1 Artist of 2025, topping the platform’s annual Top 500 Artists ranking following a year of sustained commercial and chart success. The list was compiled using sales performance, DJ chart activity and Traxsource’s own editorial data, drawn from a pool of more than 700,000 artists who released music during the year. Spen finished in the top position after snagging ten overall #1 chart placements across releases on labels including Quantize, Unquantize, QU3, PIV, Hard Times and NDATL Muzik. He also delivered the year’s #1 selling track on Traxsource with his reworked version of Evelyn “Champagne” King’s Love Come Down, produced with Ezel.
Throughout 2025, Spen’s tracks performed strongly across multiple chart categories, with additional highlights including Don’t Be Afraid with Gary Hudgins and Sara Sophia, Vernessa Mitchell’s Shout, and his 2025 rework of Reelsoul and Tasha LaRae’s All That I Can Say (Lonnie’s Groove). In total, his releases picked up twelve genre-based #1 positions alongside his overall chart results. Traxsource has marked the achievement with a guest mix showcasing Spen’s breadth within house music, featuring tracks by artists including Coflo, Karizma, Kerri Chandler, David Morales, Sylvester and Jonas Blue.
