KingCrowney drops new single Movements on Raising Records | MN2S

Trumpeter, producer and DJ KingCrowney returns with Movements, a new single released via Sy Sez’s Raising Records and distributed through MN2S Label Services. Featuring Irish-born soul-jazz vocalist Carrie Baxter, the release is now available on all major platforms.

Movements is a soulful house track shaped by Crowney’s jazz background and signature trumpet sound, with elements of broken beat and live instrumentation woven throughout. Both a shorter version and extended mix are available. Early support has come from key tastemakers, including Melvo Baptiste, who will be playing the track on The Remedy Radio Show for Defected. Crowney, also known as Mark Crown, is a member of Rudimental and an increasingly respected solo artist. Recent collaborations include tracks with Jimpster and Soul Quest, along with remix work for Ezra Collective. His productions have been spotlighted by Traxsource and DJ Mag, further establishing his presence in the UK’s underground house scene.

This release marks the 40th on Raising Records, a label founded by Sy Sez with a clear vision: to spotlight talent that bridges house, soul, and jazz. MN2S continues to support Raising Records through distribution, label management and campaign strategy, helping to bring standout projects like Movements to a wider audience. The release is available now across download and streaming platforms. On digital stores, the extended mix leads; on streaming platforms, listeners are presented with the shorter vocal version first.
