Miami Music Week 2026: The biggest week in dance music returns | MN2S

Miami Music Week 2026 is underway, with more than 200 events taking over the city for six days of pool parties, club nights, industry panels, and one of the biggest electronic music festivals on the planet.

Every March, Miami becomes the undisputed global capital of electronic music. For one week, the city’s clubs, rooftops, pool decks, and warehouse spaces are taken over by a marathon of events spanning house, techno, trance, and everything in between. Miami Music Week 2026 runs from March 24–29, with programming spread across South Beach, Downtown, Wynwood, Brickell, and beyond — culminating in the 26th edition of Ultra Music Festival at Bayfront Park from March 27–29.

WHAT IS MIAMI MUSIC WEEK?

Miami Music Week is the umbrella term for the constellation of electronic music events that take place across Greater Miami each March. What began as an informal name for the parties and showcases surrounding Ultra Music Festival and the Winter Music Conference has grown into a citywide phenomenon in its own right that’s often described as “SXSW for DJs.” The week combines unparalleled networking opportunities, panel discussions, and industry-focused programming with more parties, raves, and concerts than any one person could possibly attend.

The week is built around a natural rhythm. The opening days bring the return of the Winter Music Conference, now in its 36th year, with panels, workshops, gear demos, and keynote sessions headquartered at the Kimpton EPIC Hotel. As the week progresses, the energy builds: daytime pool parties give way to label showcases and late-night club sessions, before Ultra takes centre stage for the weekend. Beyond Ultra, the surrounding programming is just as essential, from Defected and Glitterbox pool parties at the Sagamore to Factory Town’s sprawling multi-stage takeover and intimate underground sets at venues across the city.

WHY MMW MATTERS

Miami Music Week isn’t only a party, it’s where the dance music industry does business. Artists, labels, managers, promoters, and brands from every corner of the world converge on one city for a week that shapes the rest of the year. New signings are announced, partnerships are forged, and the records that will define the summer are road-tested on dancefloors across the city. For emerging artists, it’s an opportunity to be seen and heard by the people who matter. For established names, it’s a chance to reconnect with the global community that drives the culture forward.

For MN2S, Miami Music Week holds particular significance. The agency’s US office has been based in Miami since 2018, located at Ampersand Studios in the Arts & Entertainment District, right in the heart of the action. MN2S was born on the dancefloor: what started as a DJ booking agency in London in the late 1990s has grown into a global talent and entertainment agency representing artists, DJs, celebrities, and labels across more than 130 countries. Events like MMW are where that heritage comes alive, bringing together the artists, promoters, and industry figures that MN2S works with year-round.

ON THE GROUND: DJ DEW AT MMW

Among the artists heading to Miami this week is DJ Dew, a DJ, producer and MN2S Label Services client whose sound moves fluidly between techno, tech house, minimal tech, and house. We caught up with him ahead of his appearance at Miami Music Week.

What does it mean to you to be playing Miami Music Week this year?

MMW is a special time of year when all DJs and people who have love for the music come together, and it means a lot to me to be able to share my music with them.

What can people expect from your set — are you leaning more toward the techno side, the tech house side, or something in between?

When I play, I love to create a story with my set, so I can go from tech house to house to techno as well as a few surprises in between — but it always makes sense how the music flows.

How do you approach preparing for a set at a major event like MMW compared to a regular club night?

My preparation for Miami Music Week is kind of simple. As a DJ I’m kind of old-school in the sense that I like to play music that people have never heard before and leave them wondering why they never heard it — because it’s that good.

Miami Music Week brings together artists and industry from all over the world. Is there anyone you’re particularly excited to see or connect with while you’re out there?

I’m definitely looking forward to seeing Mark Knight, Mau P, Martinez Brothers, Dennis Ferrer, and Sam Divine, Plastic Funk — just to name a few, but there’s so many more.

What are you most looking forward to about Miami Music Week outside of your own set — any events, parties, or venues you’ve got your eye on?

The energy in the air. To be around thousands of people who have love for the music — that is so inspiring. To see the smiles, the good times as people dance and react to the music, and most of all that on the dance floor we are all one.
