Applications Now Open for Summer Enrollment
Following the announcement earlier this year of a new collaboration between MN2S Label Services and Sound Collective, the partnership has now officially launched. MN2S is ready to begin receiving applications over the summer and to welcome new students as they enroll in upcoming Sound Collective classes.
From Announcement to Action
When MN2S Label Services and Sound Collective first revealed their collaboration, the goal was simple. Give emerging producers and DJs a direct route from the classroom to a global release, without the confusion that so often surrounds distribution, rights management and release strategy. That vision is now live. Students enrolling with Sound Collective this summer will have access to MN2S Label Services from day one of their journey, not as an afterthought once a course ends.
What This Means for New Students
As new classes begin to enroll, students joining Sound Collective this summer will be able to apply for the opportunity to release their music through MN2S Label Services’ global distribution network. That means the same level of professional support already trusted by hundreds of labels and artists worldwide is now available to students while they are still developing their craft.

A Course Structure Built Around Flexibility
Part of what makes this partnership work so well is the range of formats Sound Collective offers. Students are not locked into a single path. Full programs run over 12 months at Sound Collective’s NYC facility, giving artists a long-term, studio-based route through production, DJing or engineering. In-person courses run over a shorter four to six week structure for those wanting to build a specific skill. And Sound Collective’s online courses are often just a couple of hours long, covering everything from production software to DJ technique, and can be completed from anywhere in the world.
That flexibility is exactly why MN2S has chosen to open this partnership up over the summer. Students may have more time on their hands, have taken a break between terms, or simply have space to think differently about their next release while they are out performing at festivals and gigs. A couple of hours between sets or a free afternoon during a break is enough to work through a course and start thinking seriously about what comes next, whether that is finishing a track or planning a release.

MN2S is now accepting applications as part of this partnership throughout the summer, aligned with Sound Collective’s enrollment of new classes. Students do not need to wait until graduation to get involved. Whether they are enrolling in a full 12 month program, a shorter in-person course, or one of the short online courses, students can begin the process of applying to bring their music to a global audience through MN2S.

This link is exclusively for Sound Collective students. All other artists and labels looking to work with MN2S should submit their application via the enquiry form on the MN2S homepage.
Successful applicants will get access to MN2S Label Services’ resources and direct support from the team, alongside the distribution and rights management infrastructure at the centre of the partnership. This means students are not just submitting music and waiting, they are supported through the process by people who work in label services every day.
