From discovering Ibiza at 14 on a screen to playing the Tomorrowland Store rooftop, TOROK’s summer story is one for the books.
When Ontario-based DJ, producer and TOROK Music Group founder Brandon first encountered the world of Ibiza dance music, he was 14 years old and experiencing it entirely through a screen. This August, he was there in person, not only watching the scene that shaped him but performing on one of its most iconic new stages. After his debut MN2S Artist Spotlight earlier this year, a lot has happened quickly: a trip to Ibiza taking in David Guetta’s legendary F*** ME I’M FAMOUS residency at Ushuaïa, a night at UNVRS, the DJ Mag #1 Club in the World 2026, and a headline set at the Tomorrowland Store rooftop in Playa d’en Bossa where he also brought his SKYHOUSE Sessions concept to the island for the first time. With new music on the way and the TOROK ecosystem expanding on every front, we caught up with Brandon to hear how the trip unfolded and what comes next.
The Ibiza trip sounds like it was a big moment. Take us back to the beginning of it.
Brandon was in Ibiza from August 2 to 5, a short but dense trip that covered a lot of ground. The centrepiece as a music fan was catching David Guetta’s F*** ME I’M FAMOUS residency at Ushuaïa on the Monday night, a residency running every Monday at the iconic open-air venue from June through October 2026. For Brandon, Ushuaïa carries a particular significance: it was one of the first Ibiza venues he came across at the age of 14, when the whole world of dance music felt distant and aspirational. Being there years later, watching one of the artists who inspired him perform on that stage, carried a weight that went well beyond the night itself. He also spent time at UNVRS, the world’s first hyperclub and the newly crowned DJ Mag #1 Club in the World, taking in more of what the island had to offer before his own moment in the spotlight arrived.
Tell us about playing the Tomorrowland Store rooftop.
On August 4, Brandon played the rooftop of the Tomorrowland Store in Ibiza Gallery, located in the heart of Playa d’en Bossa, steps from Ushuaïa and Hï Ibiza. The set also marked the first time SKYHOUSE Sessions landed on the island, with a lineup he put together including CYRIL, KEWX, Tom Diaz and Cristiano Da Silva.
“Tomorrowland has been such an influential name in electronic music, and Ibiza itself has always represented such a huge part of dance music culture to me. To go from being a kid discovering this world online to eventually playing my own set there and bringing an event concept I created to Ibiza was a really rewarding moment.”
The rooftop terrace suited SKYHOUSE perfectly: open-air, sunset-facing, and with an audience encountering what he is building for the first time.
SKYHOUSE Sessions has grown significantly this year. Where has it been?
What started as a rooftop event concept in Canada has expanded fast. In 2026 alone, SKYHOUSE Sessions has taken place in Vancouver, Scottsdale, New York, Boston and now Ibiza. The goal, as Brandon describes it, is not simply to add cities but to build something lasting in each one: rooftop locations, house music, strong content, and a community around the events rather than treating them as standalone shows. What music is coming next?
The next release is called “Surrender,” due in September on TOROK Music Group. It marks a deliberate shift in direction: a piano-driven house record that Brandon describes as the beginning of a new creative chapter for the TOROK project. With over 95,000 monthly listeners on Spotify and releases on labels including Black Hole Recordings, Future Rave Music and more, the platform is there for this next chapter to land.
“There’s a lot more new music being prepared behind it. This release is really the beginning of what I have planned heading into the end of 2026 and 2027.”
And the label itself?
TOROK Music Group is entering what Brandon calls a genuine growth phase. Alongside his own releases, the label will be signing records from other artists through the remainder of 2026 and into 2027. Independent artists looking for support with their own releases can also explore Torok Music Marketing, the agency arm Brandon founded to help artists grow their careers with real strategy behind them.
“I want to keep developing TMG into a strong home for electronic music, introduce more artists through the label and continue growing the roster.”
What does the rest of the year look like?
On the live side, Scottsdale in September is next, followed by Miami, with more dates being confirmed. Musically, more TOROK releases follow “Surrender” in the coming months. Torok Music Marketing continues to grow alongside the label, and SKYHOUSE is pushing into new markets. What excites Brandon most is seeing all the pieces connect.
“The TOROK artist project, TMG, Torok Music Marketing and SKYHOUSE are becoming part of a much bigger ecosystem. That’s something I’ve been working toward for a long time, and I feel like we’re still very early in where it can go.”
