Our label management team is thrilled to welcome a new label to the roster: MO-OB.
Led by Moises, MO-OB works with a variety of producers across the spectrum of house music, including Pana, Carlos Sanchez, Pinto, Pinney, Moray, Joe Moan, Matteo Guarnieri and more. Set up two years ago in the hopes of seeking new challenges diversifying from an existing label called Downhill Music, the imprint showcases “different styles, but always for people to enjoy and have a good time, whether that’s in the club or at home listening.” Now on their fourth release, MO-OB are selling out vinyl copies while sharing digital samplers that are racking up thousands of listens on Beatport. Moises also heads up a variety of sublabels, including Beste Freunde, La Peña Records and Sleepless Musik. MO-OB’s latest release, the Digital Sampler 002, brings “five killer weapons” that mix up a variety of styles from within electronic music.
“Each EP is special for me and I’m super thankful to all the artists that send me music every day – sometimes I’ll sign it and sometimes not, but I try to keep in touch with all artists for the effort.”

Speaking about their plans for 2020, Moises commented: “this week the new Digital Sampler 002 is out, and we’re ready to release another. After that we have an EP planned with Biles, Akyra, F.eth, Tom Frankel and Mbius – I’m really excited with this one because I think it’s our most complete release yet. All the tracks are a trip!” Working alongside MN2S, Monie Star are relying on our experienced Label Services department to distribute their music digitally while helping them realise their creative vision.
