Our label management team is thrilled to welcome a new label to the roster: Soul Departure.
Headed up by DJ and producer Michele Sodano, AKA Kikko Esse, Soul Departure is a newly launched imprint focusing on soulful house music, with a collaborative ethos that will see the label head link up with a range of talented artists around the world. Sodano was motivated to found Soul Departure by the desire to create a personal musical identity and connect with new producers and musicians.

Though his label is new, Sodano is no stranger to the dance music scene: this Italian DJ, producer and remixer has been playing music since 1996, working with labels such as Tropical Disco Records, Quantize Recordings, King Street Sounds, Tony Records and Ocha Records. His latest release, “Get Up”, is the debut release for Soul Departure. Working alongside MN2S, Soul Departure are relying on our experienced Label Services department to distribute their music digitally while helping them realise their creative vision. With “a lot of beautiful music and collaborations with many artists” in the works, things are only just getting started for Soul Departure.
