2 Chainz releases new track video: "Money Maker" feat. Lil Wayne | Live | News | MN2S

American rapper, songwriter and media personality, 2 Chainz, has released a new music video for the single “Money Maker”, first shared in August.

The video highlights a number of university marching bands and dance teams, singling out historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs). The list includes: Florida A&M University, Southern University, Alabama State, Clark Atlanta, Texas Southern and many more.

The video features none other than Southern University’s Marching Band “Human Jukebox,” and starts off with a marching band arranged cover of Guy’s “Piece of My Love” played by the band. Along with the live performance that introduces the track, included was video footage of other bands and dance members from various schools. 2 Chainz included these band and dance members to help spread the love of HBCUs throughout the country. Including these bands is also threaded to a deeper connection, as 2 Chainz / Tauheed Epps was a basketball player for HBCU Alabama State. Pushing a video with this content is a reminder of 2 Chainz roots, and where his rap career took off.

The track features New Orleans-born rapper Lil Wayne who gives the track an additional flare. 2 Chainz premiered the video during a Verzuz battle with Rick Ross, giving an interlude to his upcoming album. His sixth studio album, So Help Me God is set to release September 25.

MN2S represents NLE Choppa and 1577 other Live Acts. View artist bio
