The BBC has announced a brand new music festival focused on up and coming talent: BBC Music Introducing LIVE 18.
The three-day festival will take place at London’s Tobacco Dock on 8th to 10th November, and is expected to welcome 15,000 aspiring musicians and talented members of the industry.
The festival is being sponsored by several UK music industry bodies, with many leading slated to share their wisdom in talks and Q&A sessions. The BBC Introducing LIVE 2018 festival lineup is yet to be announced, but no doubt many of the acts will go onto big things.
BBC Introducing was launched in 2007, and has since helped support thousands of young and up-and-coming artists across multiple genres. MN2S artists Fullmarx and Plain Loco have both had tracks featured on BBC Introducing radio slots. Last year, the brand held its popular Amplify event, which proved so successful that 2018’s expanded version has been announced. Tickets are not yet on sale, but fans can sign up to hear more at the BBC Introducing website. If you can’t get tickets, the event will be live streamed all day on BBC Radio.
