Latin American sensation Luis Fonsi has released the follow up to his international mega-hit ‘Despacito’, ‘Party Animal’ with Charly Black.
‘Despacito’ has fast become the biggest song of the year internationally, with the original version dominating the Spanish-speaking world, and a Justin Bieber-featuring remix taking over the rest of the globe.
Now, Luis Fonsi is back with ‘Party Animal’, a party another Latin party anthem with crossover appeal.
The track, a collaboration with dancehall artist Charly Black, is a remix of a dancehall anthem, which features Luis Fonsi singing in English. Time will tell if it reaches ‘Despacito’-level worldwide popularity, but it is a great addition to the Luis Fonsi catalogue regardless.
‘Party Animal’ premiered via Billboard, who noted the pedigree of its producer, Atella–the artist behind official remixes for Axwell and Imagine Dragons. There’s another Justin Bieber connection, too. ‘Party Animal’ was mixed by Josh Gudwin, who has worked with Bieber in the past.
