Grime superstar Scorcher has appeared on Match of the Day performing a brand new track.

Scorcher is one of the hottest rappers in the Grime game at the moment, and he’s also one of Tottenham Hotspur’s biggest and most prominent fans.

As Tottenham geared up to face Aston Villa in the FA Cup third round. To send his support for his favourite team, Scorcher penned a special football-themed verse and recorded a short football-based music video to go with it.

His support seems to have worked, as Tottenham defeated Aston Villa 2-0 in the match just after the rap aired on TV, and they hammered West Brom 4-0 in a match at The Lane on Saturday, and they are currently placed second in the tournament.

Scorcher’s Tottenham-supporting rhyme displayed his trademark wit and wordplay, which has been fuelling his career success for years. Scorcher is no stranger to TV either, with a starring role as Kamale on the Channel 4 drama Top Boy.

Scorcher has already followed up his Match of the Day appearance with the brand new single ‘Paranoid’, a dark, brooding track produced by the the mighty Donaeo.
