Following a sold-out tour in 2017, chart-topping vocal group Boney M are returning to Canada for an eagerly anticipated string of dates in December 2018. The universally adored euro-disco outfit have planned eleven shows across several cities.
Boney M have a dedicated following in Canada, having received double Platinum certification in 1981 for their classic ‘Christmas Album’, a Canadian family favourite that receives extensive radio play every Christmas. The album was re-released in 2007 to further success, adding to their long-standing popularity in the region. Prior to their 2017 debut at Toronto’s Pride festival, the act had never performed in Canada – the four dates that followed on from Pride unsurprisingly sold out in record time.

Boney M’s December tour will see the 80s Eurodance legends perform in cities including Toronto, Winnipeg, Calgary and Saskatoon. Almost all tour dates have already sold out, with tickets disappearing in under 30 minutes – two extra shows were added in Saskatoon due to an unprecedented demand. After four decades in the industry, Boney M are still taking their electric performances across the world and releasing sought-after compilations – most recently, the comprehensive retrospective box-set ‘Complete’.
