Lux Fragil
With the recent passing of Lux Fragil’s founder Manuel Reis, we are reminded of the importance this nightclub plays in the European dance scene. One of the capital’s largest bass music venues, it has been a champion of house, techno and disco ever since its birth in ‘98.

Europa Club
Perhaps one of Europa’s most interesting selling points is its ‘breakfast DJ sets’, held between 6am and 10am. Now one of the oldest clubs in Lisbon, Europa is a go-to location for all those interested a rave before their morning pastel de nata.
Ministerium Club
One of the youngest clubs on our list, Ministerium Club is far from the least revered. Earning its stripes for championing house & techno music, this club has hosted countless pioneering electronic DJs and underground talent.
Lx Factory
Lx Factory is one of the most well-known clubbing venues in Lisbon. Its sharp, contemporary and ambient atmosphere has hosted all manner of concerts, turntablists and other events. Expect its doors to be flooded with weekend punters spilling onto its cavernous dancehalls.
Enjoying a drink on the rooftop of @LX Factory #Lisbon. Amazing docklands redevlopment project. Can we do this in #galway please?
