
DMC of Run-DMC is set to perform at the One Universe Festival this October.
DMC of legendary hip-hop group Run-DMC will be performing in Korea this October for the One Universe Festival. Sharing the stage with headliners Kid Cudi and Lil Uzi Vert, DMC will be performing a show-stopping set of hits from his illustrious career in hip-hop. Taking place October 7th – October 8th and located near Seoul Forest in Seongdong-gu, One Universe is a new festival launched by leading lifestyle brand Peaches, seeking to blend car culture and music. “One Universe Festival 2023 represents the brand’s vision to embrace various industries through a comprehensive platform that showcases and celebrates car culture, music, fashion, gaming, and F&B,” a spokesperson says. “We want to create a festival that encompasses all elements of culture, delivering an unforgettable experience for all.”
DMC, born Darryl McDaniels, is a hip-hop pioneer and legendary artist. As one-third of the iconic group Run-D.M.C., he revolutionized the rap genre in the 1980s, infusing it with raw energy and rock influences. DMC’s powerful lyrics and distinctive fashion sense, including his trademark fedora and thick-rimmed glasses, left an indelible mark on pop culture.
