Era Istrefi Releases ‘Origami’

Overnight internet phenomenon Era Istrefi has just released her latest single, ‘Origami’ with Ultra Records. In just three days, the song has gathered 512,000 hits on YouTube alone.

Era’s addictive melodies and floor-filling basslines have earnt her a reputation as the ‘Eastern European Rihanna’. Born in Kosovo, her rise to stardom happened at lightning speed, with her first single ‘Mani Për Money’ dropping when she was just 19 years old. Today, the song boasts almost 15 million listens on YouTube.

Already having earned top industry accolades in Europe, such as Best New Artist, 2017’s European Border Breakers award and three music video awards from Video Fest, Era Istrefi is becoming something of a pop legend. Thanks to a keen eye for style and a daring fashion sensibility, Era’s striking look has led the Independent to dub her as the “next Sia”.

Now 23 years old, Era has been lucky enough to have her most recognised hit, ‘Bonbon’ remixed by the likes of American rapper Post Malone and the electronic dance-music producer, Marshmello. Today, the Post Malone remix has over 3.5 million plays on Soundcloud and can be listened to here.
