Overnight internet phenomenon Era Istrefi has just released her latest single, ‘Origami’ with Ultra Records. In just three days, the song has gathered 512,000 hits on YouTube alone.
Era’s addictive melodies and floor-filling basslines have earnt her a reputation as the ‘Eastern European Rihanna’. Born in Kosovo, her rise to stardom happened at lightning speed, with her first single ‘Mani Për Money’ dropping when she was just 19 years old. Today, the song boasts almost 15 million listens on YouTube.
Already having earned top industry accolades in Europe, such as Best New Artist, 2017’s European Border Breakers award and three music video awards from Video Fest, Era Istrefi is becoming something of a pop legend.
