Huey Morgan was booked with MN2S to perform at Create Festival.
New York’s very own critically acclaimed ex-frontman of rock/hip-hop band Fun Lovin’ Criminals, Huey Morgan, will be performing a special DJ set celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Create and revelation festival. The partnership between the Create Festival on one hand, and the eclectic arts trust Revelation has proven fruitful for the local community in Kent and beyond. The venue will be at a 13th century place of worship called the St Mary’s Church enabling an up-close and personal experience for the crowd.

Huey originally started his music career by forming a band alongside Brian Leiser and Steve Borgovini called the Fun Lovin’ Criminals. In total, the Fun Lovin Criminals released 6 studio albums of which three made the top ten in the UK Album Chart. It was only in 2012 that Huey released his first solo album, called Say It to My Face. Morgan’s half-Puerto Rican and half-Irish background enabled him to mix loose funk, soul, hip-hop and reggae amongst other genres in an impressive way. His rich experiences in a wide range of different genres make him the ideal candidate to present to his fans what can only be described as a varied and extensive DJ set. Huey Morgan will be supported by DJ Hooch who has worked with the likes of Bootsy Collins, Junie Morrison or even Don Blackman amongst others.
“The much loved, charismatic front man of acclaimed rock and hip hop group Fun Lovin’ Criminals will be performing a very special DJ set celebrating 25 years of Create at Revelation this Autumn.”
