Huey Morgan

Huey Morgan is an acclaimed musician, DJ, broadcaster, author, and producer, bringing his versatile talents to numerous global brands and media platforms. After co-founding the acclaimed Fun Lovin’ Criminals in 1993 with Brian ‘Fast’ Leiser and Steve Borgovini, Huey Morgan quickly established himself as a prominent figure in music. As the frontman, vocalist, and guitarist, Morgan was instrumental in writing and producing the band’s material, leading to significant global success. Their debut album, ‘Come Find Yourself,’ released in 1996, propelled the band to international recognition with hits like ‘Scooby Snacks’ and ‘King of New York.’ The Fun Lovin’ Criminals released six studio albums, with three achieving UK Top 10 positions and eight singles charting in the UK Top 40, including ‘100% Colombian’ (1998) and ‘Loco’ (2001).

Demonstrating his diverse musical range, Morgan also released his debut solo album, ‘Say It to My Face,’ under the moniker Huey and the New Yorkers in 2012. Morgan has further expanded his creative portfolio into literature and television. In 2015, he published his first book, ‘Rebel Heroes: The Renegades of Music & Why We Still Need Them.’ His engaging personality has also been featured across various television programs, including appearances on ‘Never Mind the Buzzcocks,’ ‘The Underdog Show,’ and ‘Liza & Huey’s Pet Nation.’ Furthermore, his distinctive voice has been lent to narration projects for National Geographic’s ‘Drugs Inc’ and ‘Underworld Inc,’ alongside contributing to advertising campaigns for notable brands such as Wagamama and Lynx. In November 2021, Morgan departed from Fun Lovin’ Criminals and now performs with his new band, continuing to blend alternative rock, hip-hop, jazz, reggae, and funk in his performances.

He is also set to release his autobiography, ‘The Fun Lovin’ Criminal,’ in 2025, further cementing his multi-faceted career as an acclaimed musician, DJ, broadcaster, author, and producer.
