The Ministry is celebrating Mental Health Awareness Week with a panel discussion and after-party featuring two of our most talented selectors.
Mental health is an urgent issue that’s never been more relevant to our cultural discourse. In light of the recent passing of Keith Flint and Avicii, the subject has provoked heated discussion within the music and entertainment industries, as leading figures from across the industry begin to take note and expand the conversation on a global scale.
The Ministry is helping to raise awareness around the issue and explore the topic of mental health in the music and entertainment world with an event featuring guest speakers Brandon Block, Emma Conybeare and Richard Blackwood. Taking place in The Ministry’s private cinema, the panel discussion is set to cover “how to break the silence and talk about your mental health.. the focus will be on owning your mental health and not feeling like you are being stigmatised or victimised, instead feeling empowered and strong.” MN2S DJs Emma and Richard will be spinning records in The Ministry bar following the event.
Housed above a private member’s club that’s frequented by a cast of London’s most creative and innovative individuals, the MN2S office sits at the heart of London’s creative industries. Opened in early 2018 by The Ministry of Sound Group, The Ministry has since become a hub for industry professionals and businesses centred around music, media, film, tech, marketing and PR.
